The Grand Palace in Bangkok. Rama the 5th reconstructed the building which is in the back left. The building to the right is one for special occasions that the king would come and sit in remembrance of his enthronement. A little tidbit, Rama the 5th was the son of the king from "Anna and the King". The Grand Palace has a unique Thai feel mixed with European charateristics probably because of the kings time spent in Europe.
